Instinctive Storytelling by Ahmad Afzal

Even the best of writers cannot sometime figure out the next scene, whereas a normal boy with a very nonchalant approach could step in and leave the writer spellbound with a mind blowing follow up. These are Instinctive storytellers, typically not ending in the class of writers and authors, but endowed with the power to say a tale in numerous ways and with equal tenacity. Their sense of detailing is always intriguing, irrespective to their command over a language, which also sometime fences in their prospects as a potential writer. The style of narrative is characteristically so unique, unpredictable and coherent, that often the audience forgets the medium and starts living the tale. There is an invisible technique processing in the minds of these gifted people, while they balance each act and meticulously plant the plot points, all with an effortless ease.

These talented storytellers possess the knack to unknowingly pick up the best from their experiences in life and weave a tale around it. This form of narrative suits Cinema and hence we see a bigger chunk of Instinctive storytellers preferring to write for the Screen in comparison to other styles/formats of writing.

So next time if you randomly come across someone who wants to say a Story, lend him your ear, he might have an ace up his sleeve.
